I know that we sent out somewhere up to 70 Christmas cards telling everyone that we are moving to Dover, DE . . . but Ben is getting his orders changed and we are moving to Tacoma, WA!! Tacoma is inbetween Seattle and Olympia. . . close to mountains and some very famous coffee spots. 
It is a bittersweet change for us. We are both very excited about moving to the pacific northwest, but still pretty upset that we are going to be leaving our friends who are going to Delaware. We have become very close to them and it is hard going to the opposite end of the country without them.
It is a huge transition, but this was our original “top choice” when Ben first started pilot training back in August ‘06.
We do not know exactly when we will arrive (our guess is early April). Ben has one final checkride this week on Tuesday, and then we will be moving back to Del Rio on Wednesday.
Well, we are off to dinner!

acckkkk!!!! yes, i am so excited! that is such a beautiful part of the country, and not too far from my family in san francisco, so i’ll be able to visit you!!! sammy and i have been talking about exploring seattle, anyway, so this will be further incentive. i’m sorry you won’t get to be with your friends, but very VERY happy that you’re moving west!

Congratulations! Travis was on casual for a year at McChord and then we lived there for 3 weeks after we got married and before we moved to MS. We loved it! So, SO beautiful! And so fun to have Seattle nearby. We hope you guys love it! Good luck, Ben, on your checkride!
